EMacDesign™ LLC is owned and operated by Washington, DC-area artist Eric MacDicken, a professional illustrator and designer since 1988. Eric's artwork has been featured in the Graphic Artists Guild's Directory of Illustration, volumes 20, 21, and 22, and in PLAY!, the directory of illustrators for the toy & gaming industry.
With a special interest in providing illustration work for use in education, Eric's worked with organizations such as George Washington University, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), the British Library in London, HBO Family's 30 by 30 program, and the American Society for Microbiology.
Additionally, Eric has created artwork and designed marketing materials for organizations including Congressional Quarterly Inc., GOVERNING magazine, National Public Radio (NPR), the American Society of Newspaper Editors (ASNE), the Newspaper Association of America's PRESSTIME magazine, the National Press Club, and Whole Foods Markets.
In addition to the personal service Eric provides, EMacDesign™ LLC utilizes a contracted team of writers, photographers and web-slingers to offer Art Buyers and Art Directors complete, prompt, professional graphic design work.
